Greece is known for it's serene beauty and tranquility. Many novels are set on the beautiful islands, including two of my favorites, This Rough Magic and The Moonspinners. Despite Greece's current economic situation, it is still a beautiful place to visit sometime in the future.

The sunset at Oia is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. And, yes, this is where Lena is in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Greek Food (appetizers) :

They had these guys in Turkey and at first I thought, "Yuck! Vine leaves..." but I tried then and they were so good! They are stuffed with rice and they are just a tad bit sour. And they don't  taste like spinach!
