HOW TO MAKE A BOW BELT (THE EASY WAY)

Don't you hate when that part of the belt that doesn't tuck in anywhere just keeps getting in your way? I do. I was so annoyed with it I tried to tuck it somewhere.

First, I made a half bow. Then, I thought, How Can I Make A Full Bow? I googled it and only found tutorials for making a bow belt out of ribbon or cloth when I wanted to make one from just my belt. I experimented a little and came up with....Ta-Da! A Bow Belt!

I took a bazillion photos so I would remember how to tie it (none all that great quality, I'm afraid.)

Basically all you do is........

Do everything you normally do to tie a belt but then before you tuck it in the belt loophole, make your own loop. Then make a loop on the other side of the loophole, and then tuck the end in the loophole so it stays fastened.

It's really simple, convenient and chic!
