Because of pollution, development, global warming, etc. many of the
most beautiful places on Earth are disappearing. When I'm older, I don't
want to read in the newspaper how beautiful it was, and how it's
gone. So, in light of that, I decided to create a list of disappearing places you should plan to see for your next trip.
My favorite. I have already made it my goal in life to go here and photograph everything. Unfortunately, because of all the tourism, it has become polluted and fisherman and poachers kill a lot of the marine life.
There are so many beautiful and unique animals in the Galapagos. Take a look:
The Wadden Sea in Denmark is a really low lying coast that looks as though it is completely submerged under water- and it soon will be due to the rising sea level. Not only is this place a breathtaking spectacle, it is also a major bird sanctuary.
The Kauai Island of Hawaii. Approximately 70% of the beaches are eroding.
Severe climate change because of Global Warming is destroying this wonder. animals like the Ganges river dolphin are becoming extinct (can you believe it? I couldn't find one good photo of the river dolphin!)
This place was the site of the ancient Olympic games- now plagues by wildfires.
This island in the Pacific Ocean will soon disappear because of the rises in sea level.
This place, famous for its beautiful architecture, is slowly sinking. I have to go to Venice before it disappears because riding in a gondola is on my Bucket List!
