What's healthy?

What's healthy?

The answer is:
Your hair after reading this post.

I want to share a few tips and advice on making and maintaining healthier hair.

via

1/ Stay away from the chemicals. Don't dye your hair without thinking about the outcome or consequence of what will happen to it after you've dyed it. I've never dyed my hair.

2/ Limit your use of blow dryers, hair straighteners, and curling irons. Even though it may be ceramic, it could potentially still burn your hair, leaving it damaged. Only use it when you really have to.

3/ Deep condition once a week. This will heal damaged hair particles.

4/ If your hair is naturally puffy or frizzy, stay away from hats and scarves made fiber-y fabrics like knit or wool.

5/ Buy a hair lotion or moisturizer to apply to your hair at least twice a week. This will give it moisture.

6/ Don't wash your hair with super hot water. This damages the hair. Turn the heat down and use luke-warm water instead.

7/ Check for split ends often and if you spot even one, get at least one and half inches trimmed off.
